💫 A New Year Note From Me To You,
Hey friends, Happy Tuesday, and Happy New Year!
While I’m still very much in the land of baby snuggles, and figuring out our new ‘forever changing’ rhythm, I wanted to pop into your inbox with a little early January love.
The start of a new year can feel loud - resolutions everywhere, pressure to reinvent everything overnight, a sense that we should already be ‘on it.’ The truth is: there’s no race. No timeline. No rulebook you have to follow.
You’re allowed to begin gently. You’re allowed to take your time. You’re allowed to still be finishing off the festive chocolates and watching films on the sofa. You’re allowed to be in the gym cracking on with goals you’ve set for yourself, and a mindset that is making them happen. You’re allowed to start the year in whatever way actually feels right for YOU!
Small, doable intentions are always a kind way to begin, and I’d love the start of your year to be kind. Maybe it’s sitting with your thoughts before deciding what you want this year to look like. Maybe it’s choosing one thing to commit to, instead of twelve. Maybe it’s simply giving yourself a beat to breathe after the whirlwind of December.
The quietest goals are often the most powerful ones - the ones rooted in alignment rather than urgency. The ones that leave room for life to happen. So take January at YOUR pace. Tune in. Choose what serves you. Let everything else wait.
The Leanne Weekly will be back once I’ve found my feet a little more, but until then, know that I’m cheering you on from some very sleep deprived sidelines!
When I say happy new year
I’m really wishing you
more happy days than sad days
more joy than misery
more laughter than tears
more bravery than fear
and the wisdom to accept they all belong
